Girls JV and varsity volleyball bumped, set, and spiked against longtime rival Wilcox earlier tonight in a set of games. After a tense hour of competition where the Santa Clara team came close to overtaking Wilcox several times, the varsity Wilcox girls came out victorious with a 3-0 win.

Senior varsity player Rafal Saeed dove for much of the balls while senior varsity player Kayla Katzman spiked it across. In a memorable moment, senior varsity player Kayla Dominguez jumped for the ball and rolled right onto her feet.

JV won their set with a 2-1 win, winning the first match, losing the second, and winning the game with the last. About 40 members of the football team attended the varsity volleyball game to show support and unity.
