Elias Panou, Opinion Editor
Elias Panou is a senior at Santa Clara High School. Proudly born in what the BBC voted as “Britain’s Worst City” five years in a row, Panou hails from Kirkcaldy, Scotland, but was raised in Glasgow. Entering The Roar in his freshman year, he has been the opinion editor ever since his sophomore year. He has written throughout a variety of topics, and likes to believe he has changed and matured alongside his work. He writes The Roar’s book column, which he so cleverly and funnily titled “Panou’s Paper Panel.” He loves all things Britpop, Madchester and British Alternative. He is an avid reader, runner, collector of records and cassettes, audiophile, hater of pasta and other assortments of Italian foods and is a proud supporter of the Glasgow Rangers.
