Today, SCHS’s leadership class decided this year’s homecoming theme, “Superhero Teams” at their annual retreat.

After narrowing it down to three, each student council member voted between “Arcade Games,” “Superhero Teams,” and “Wonders of the World,” finally deciding that the comic-oriented theme was the best of the three.

Once decided, the Seniors requested Justice League, the DC Comics team featuring Superman, Batman, and the Flash.

Juniors voted on having Marvel’s Avengers, with Ironman, Captain America, and the Hulk.

Sophomores chose Fantastic Four, with Mister Fantastic, the Human Torch, and the Thing.

Freshmen had the final choice, with X-Men, the comic featuring Cyclops, Wolverine and Nightcrawler.

Each class will use these themes to design a float, skit, and poster to be displayed at the Homecoming parade, rally, and game on Oct. 30. SCHS will face Gunn High School for that game.
