Bruins football team defeats Alisal High at first game

The Bruins varsity football team won their first game of the season Friday night, defeating the Alisal High School Trojans with a score of 40-21.

At halftime, the score was tied at 13 with touchdowns by running back Hadkeem Watts and wide receiver Marquise Shields. During the second half, the team managed to increase their lead with touchdowns by Watts, Shields, wide receiver Darius Jones-Dorsey and running back Andrew Del Rosario.

Next Friday, the team hosts their second non-league match against Gunderson High School.
