REVIEW: “Justice League” is action-packed and exciting

Released on Nov. 17, “Justice League” is an action-packed movie, relating well to today’s panicked and fearful society.

Taking place after Superman’s death in the previous DC film “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” (2016), the people no longer have faith in each other and the world is once again in danger.

The villain in this film is Steppenwolf, a “New God,” who believes it’s his right to take over Earth. When Batman finds out, he assembles the Justice League — Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg — to stop him.

The movie is filled with funny one-liners, great action and exciting characters.

Though the movie offers 3D viewing, it’s not necessary because although the action is entertaining, 3D doesn’t add much to the overall experience. It’s a waste of money to pay the extra few dollars to watch this in 3D.

The plot has intriguingly vague backstories leaving the audience wanting to know more about characters’ origins, their incredible teamwork and the amazing special effects of their powers. Just what one needs for a superhero movie.

The characters were well portrayed, and followed the original characters from the comics nicely.  It’s an entertaining watch.
