The film was visually appealing.

Walt Disney Studios released the long-awaited “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” on Friday, Dec. 20, 2019. The movie is a great finish to the “Star Wars” saga, offering stunning visuals and thoughtful cinematography.

The plot provides a logical end to the saga. The main character Rey was chosen by the “Force” to be its successor and was left as the last Jedi in previous films. In “The Rise of Skywalker,” she continues her journey with her good friends, Poe and Fin with the goal to defeat The Dark Side.

Unlike in previous films, the main characters have all the knowledge and power gained in past films, including the “Force,” which really helps them in battles. This makes the plot intriguing as the characters are more mature and make better decisions. They finally have grown enough to battle the Dark Side with the potential to beat it.

The visual effects provided by Industrial Light & Magic company help the viewers dive deeper into the movie and fully enjoy it. The effects make the fight scenes more intense, engrossing the viewer.

In the final battle of Rey fighting Palpatine, who comes back from the dead, the movie shows off its great cinematography. The planets are shown with great attention to detail and look so realistic that it makes the viewer feel as if they are participating in the battle. The lightsabers look as if they are real and can cut through anything in their path. The plot in combination with the amazing visuals make “The Rise of Skywalker” an appealing end to the saga. Fans may be sad that the saga has ended, but it was finished in a spectacular way that deserves a roaring applause.
